Abstract

In addition to contributing to Colombian historiography with a deep analysis of the Republican period 1850-1930, Germán Palacio's book also invites incorporating environmental elements into historical research. But what is the point of incorporating environmental aspects into this type of research? Why is it important to tell stories from an ecological perspective? What is achieved with these types of intellectual initiatives?
