Tribute note to María Cristina Navarrete

Abstract

A few days ago, a spirit of perseverance and enthusiasm for academic research left us. In recognition of Professor Navarrete's detailed work, I present this brief text. It was used to show, on October 13, 2011, at the Casa Sefarad in Madrid, her book entitled The Jewish Diaspora in Colombia, 16th and 17th Centuries. Uncertainties of their arrival, settlement, and persecution.
