Based on the Missions Magazine that was published and circulated monthly in Colombia from 1925, together with the Encyclical Rerum Ecclesiae issued by Pope Pius XI on February 28, 1926, I´m going to analyze the strategy implemented by the Catholic Church to finance the Missions in Colombia between 1925 and 1930, grounded on the obligatory linking of believers to a system of indulgences, privileges, choirs (10 people), prayers, financial contributions and recognition granted by the Pontifical Mission Societies: Propagation of the Faith, Holy Childhood and Saint Peter the Apostle for the formation of the indigenous clergy.
