This text evident the Colombian intellectual, poet, and art critic, Eduardo Gómez (Miraflores, 1932), as part of the generation of utopia. That is the one that in the 1960s and 1970s displayed intense and plural relations between culture and politics, both in Colombia and in the international concert. Colombia, through its artists and intellectuals, also made that era, which the perspective of social change was the priority and one of its most important tools was precisely culture.

After a presentation of the topic, the text composes for public knowledge an extract from a long intergenerational conversation with the intellectual made visible here.
